Bookings
Once booked by telephone, bookings remain firm for one week pending receipt of a 25% deposit. The remaining balance is to be paid on arrival.
Arrival and Departure
The bed & breakfast is available from 4.00pm on day of arrival, guests must depart by 10.30 am on the day of departure, failure to do so may incur additional costs. For fire safety purposes, guest numbers must not exceed the numbers booked and only names booked can stay in the rented rooms.
Food & Alcohol
For health and safety reasons, guests are not allowed to consume food and alcohol in their rooms which has been purchased externally.
Pets
For health and saftey reasons, we do not accept pets.
Damages, Breakages and Cleaning
The Bed and Breakfast rooms are expected to be left in the same condition that they were hired. If they are not, we reserve the right to charge for any damages or cleaning that exceeds the normal change over at £14.00 per hour.
Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation, please let us know immediately. Deposits are not refundable and are used to cover any staff and admin fees.
Smoking
In accordance with current regulations, Cross Villa has a no smoking policy.
Payment
We accept cheques, cash and various cards as displayed on the front page of the website, please call to confirm non-standard cards. Deposits should be sent by post and are to be made payable to:
‘T & L Davies’.
Our Liabilities To You
We will endeavour to provide you with good quality and clean accommodation; should a problem arise which is out of our control, i.e. fire damage, flood damage etc, our liability to you is to either offer alternative accommodation, or give you a full refund which is in proportion to the number of nights that you may have already stayed. This is our only responsibility, with no further liability accepted.
Keys
Lost keys will be charged at £75.00; this is due to the cost of replacing the main door lock and its associated keys.
Theft
We accept no liability for any loss that may occur, and advise that our guests take out their own holiday insurance to cover any unforseen occurances.
Car Parking
Car parking is at owners risk and is on private land, we provide this for the guest’s convenience but take no responsibility for loss to car or possessions.
